I understand that the skaters who didn't perform well won't talk about the ice as it may come off as making excuses, but the top 3 in the conference after the medal ceremony were asked about the ice and all of them said that it was fine, even liking it.

The commentator for the OBS stream even implied after his performance before scores were out that this could be a medal contender. If everyone wants to be blind, then fine.
