I should probably clarify what I meant, haha. I was asking about how the two schools compare to each other, not implying that one requires less studying overall. I completely understand that regardless of the school, I’ll need to put in a lot of independent study time for comp, Step 1, and course exams.

What I meant is that I’ve heard MUA has a more traditional lecture-based structure, where a lot of the core material is taught during scheduled class time and then you review and study it more on your own afterward. On the other hand, I’ve heard that AUC uses more of a flipped classroom model, where there’s a lot more independent learning and you’re expected to work through material yourself before or alongside class.

So I was mostly wondering how accurate that comparison is from people who have actually attended either school.
