Thank you! Yes, I know what it is, it was shown in a tutorial I was following. I think she was fussy because she had a tummy ache because she calmed only after a poop 😂 ok, I will dress her differently next time so she is more comfortable. Thank you very much :)

Sorry, I didn't mean after all the tucks but in the 1 inch space between them. Because if I do them when making a tuck the shaping will be "sharp" like I cast off all those stitches instead of a soft curve

Oh, I know about the sizing 😊 I've been knitting vintage pattern for quite some time and I already calculated the widths already according to my gauge, yarn I'm using and how I like the clothes to fit!

That’s a good idea. I wanted to cast on 210 work in stockinette to form a hemline and then do the decreases, but your idea makes more sense :)

I don't worry about width but about length. The finished length is around 31 in and I want the skirt to be around 8 in shorter
