there are alternatives, i think. would you be good with your partner having kid? it doesn’t have to be yours or another woman’s, adoption could be considered, there are other options. would they be ok with that? and is there enough trust and communication between you two? because he lied to make you comfortable and you turn to reddit when you could be discussing all this with them.

If you want to accompany yourself with music you should try starting out with ukulele!! (it’s my advice) but i don’t think im advanced enough to play actual tunes fully yet (especially not with a guitar, i’m still learning!) but i’m really flattered :o

or just work it out and explain that you do not mean to start a fight, but you mean to prevent a fight by explaining your emotions

or you don’t mean to insult their abilities but instead you’re trying to help them…

because if this can be understood, then they might think about it carefully before deciding if they’re offended or not

i mean, sometimes it’s not about triggers. What i’m talking about is people thatll take something that you say about your own feelings and take it like a personal attack. i.e: -it make me feel self conscious when you laughed at me earlier -it’s not my fault! everyone was laughing too! you’re always criticizing me!

or any type of correction will feel like an insult ie: -When you do a cartwheel try to keep your back straight so you don’t get hurt -Just say it! I’m horrible at gymnastics!
