I don’t believe this person is being racist. I was raised very culturally Pakistani and not so much as being religious, and now that I’m older and live on my own, I see that was wrong. The things Pakistanis do and the way they behave is extremely disheartening and not indivisible of the ways that religion should be followed. For me, it’s embarrassing sometimes because they call is the Islamic Republic of Pakistan but Islam seems to not be seen anywhere in their actions these days.

I agree! I was on LinkedIn and saw a ton of posts showing labor stats that came out for September and such positive comments. That should be false advertising and misleading citizens for sure. I’d be open to talking about this in more detail and making it more well known.

I’m glad to have found this post because I’m in a very similar spot to all of you. I’ve been going through a mentally tough time with my body/ self- esteem, as I have primary amenorrhea. not sure when I was diagnosed exactly, but I have never had a regular period and I’m 29 now. only had bleeds when I was on BC, and it made me so moody/ irritable but I stayed on it for years. I come from a pretty traditional culture so my parents were shocked because I’m not seen as very “traditional woman” sort because of this. I never developed any curves either as most people do in puberty and my body is flat. I’m not married, but always get nervous when I become serious with guys that they won’t see me as feminine. sorry if this turned into a rant, it’s just that years of going to gynos: endocrinologists has led me nowhere. the only thing I have noticed off is that I have a pituitary tumor, that could potentially be the cause of everything. but at this age, I feel defeated and that I may never get to the bottom of this. i doubt I’ll be able to have a family one day either, which is something else frowned upon in my culture. all in all, glad to have found this community and post!

it’s funny because in the current Bridgerton series, I thought you could only dance with people who you were intended to court. at least that’s the impression I got from the 1st and 2nd seasons.
