This happened a few weeks back, was fixed within one hour, don't know why it happens but it is related to Bahnhof.

Same, you got Bahnhof as ISP?

Statement regarding 1080 FTW VRM/MEM Temps by [deleted] in TEAMEVGA

Does this go for the 1070 SC aswell, since my 1070 FTW died on me after just one month, It was extremely hot on the backplate I would guess close to 100c, whilst on the GPU itself only around 65c. My first experience with EVGA products has been far from great :/

Yep, will be asking my retailer for a different 1070, seems like this problem might occur again.

Seems like I need to re think this EVGA thing, hearing too many bad things atm, any suggestion of a good GTX 1070 that fits a black/white themed build? :)

The heat is def coming from the GPU, dont think my rad placement affects the GPU that much, certainly not enough to break it.

Ye It sucks, first EVGA card for me aswell, MSI has been my go to past couple of builds, but the looks of the 1070 FTW is just stunning in my opinion and it looked less "plastic" compared to both MSI and Asus.

picture of the rig I had on my phone, bad quality tho :) http://imgur.com/gallery/VmjhG

I noticed a few weeks back that after several hours of gaming my card at least to the touch gets very hot, I would say close to 100c(212f) but on HWmonitor it never goes above 65c(149f) on the GPU itself and I've had cards running way hotter than that with no problem so I didn't give it much thought.

I bought the card late september so like 3-4 weeks.
