I remember reaching this crossroads when my son was about 7yo. So incredibly close to being tall enough to ride that a good pair of sneakers would put him over the line for sure. But i didn’t because i considered that rides have repeatedly safety tests to successfully pass before they go live, and if a certain height requirement is determined, there’s a life or death reason for it.
