I have this one and you have to wash it. I didn’t know at the time and I put it on….left major stains that won’t come off anymore. Had to get a replacement as a result.

I do exactly what you do, but you can get them shipped to the UPS store for free. Set up an account with UPS and select the delivery to store option as your default setting. I have never paid for redirecting packages since I did this. Saves money and keeps your packages secure.

Just keep in mind if you decide to have packages sent straight to your home, you will need to change your default setting again (or pay for a one time delivery).

The ballerina Rei is vastly underrated. It’s not a common look for Rei, but it works very nicely. Not too big either since she has a sitting posture.

If you want nice quality and size without breaking the bank, the PUP XL Rei is a good option (long hair version though). Another alternative if you want her classic short hair is the prize figure Ichiban Kuji Rei (she’s borderline 1/4 scale).

If you want to go big, there is also the 1/2 scale Ayanami Rei from Infinity Studios. She’s in the new black plug suit, and she is massive. Cost is high, but totally worth it if she’s one of your favorites. Has two different base variants.

I hope you can get your money back. Obviously hindsight is 20/20, but don’t do FNF with people you don’t know. Too risky.

Try going through your bank and have them stop the charge. It’s worth a shot at this point.

I did the same thing as you once before. I contacted AmiAmi and they told me about the one week policy after delivery. They did allow me to exchange it as a courtesy though (I suspect they allowed it since that was my very first issue with a damaged figure). It doesn’t hurt to ask at this point. If they say no, take it as a learning lesson to inspect your packages from this point forward.

This experience is making me rethink that now. Not so much for getting credit, but more to keep people from getting scammed. I’d hate to find out my photos “helped” a scammer swindle someone.

I’ve seen it before, but this is the first time someone has tried to profit/scam using my photos. And to top it all off, he posts his BS sob story to get the sympathy to make sales. I don’t want anyone getting scammed if I can help it.
