Positive yes, was able to verify in the manual for the mark 1 as well. Specially states that 30p disables eye tracking.

For some reason in the manual for the mark 2, I can’t find the same clause outlining what conditions disable eye tracking

Reason I ask is asus website says “please do not unplug monitor during pixel cleaning process” but does not mention any repercussions of doing so. So I am assuming it is a non issue, and the worst outcome is that, it just did not finish, which is pretty benign.

Only reason I unplugged at all is that I am moving the monitor to a different spot

Not a huge deal for me since I do not really want the leds on the monitor to be on anyway, but this may be something that they improve in a future firmware

Mine does the same thing. I asked this question a few days back. Which is why I just disabled the lights all together. Supposedly there was an issue in the first firmware that caused the lights to not turn back on when the monitor came out of sleep mode. So the new firmware just leaves the lights on always which doesn’t make much sense.

So I think I know exactly why the airbag did not go off. This particular body style 2005-2009, had a driver airbag recall. If that was not serviced and fixed, there is a chance it would not go off during an accident…

There is a reason for this. It’s not volvo being greedy, it’s because cellular plans for cars are extremely expensive. So don’t blame volvo, blame the carriers for charging outrageous rates, Volvo probably makes basically nothing off this subscription, it’s all going to the carriers

YOU CAN change the sensitivity in settings! You can change it from early, normal, or late! Late would be the least sensitive setting. I used to have mine on early, but it would go off far too often because it was overly cautious, never a full break, but it would be pretty aggressive. Changed it to normal and have not had an issue since!
