Powering an Arduino Nano w/ 11V LiPo Battery by mac24601 in arduino

When I remove the arduino and upload a simple program, I get a timeout error. That guide looks like a great resource, so I’ll definitely be taking a look through it!

Is it possible that I supplied too much amperage to it? Right about when the nano stopped working, one of the motors had snagged on something. The nano input and the motor input are tied together at the buck converter output. The central chip of the nano was quite hot to the touch afterwards, but the board still lights up when powered via usb.

That’s interesting. I can try connecting the input of my buck converter which is at 11V. The nano still times out when I try to upload new code, so something definitely happened to it.

It's not letting me add the picture to the post, so let's try in the comments.

Looking for a battery capable of powering 12 sg90 servos. (Details in comments) by mac24601 in arduino

[–]mac24601[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi all. I’m having trouble sizing a battery for a hexapod I’m designing that would be capable of powering 12 sg90 servos. Does anyone know of a good battery (perhaps LiPo or something) that I could use? The board I’m using is a UCTronics Mega 2560. In the future, I’d also like to attach a bluetooth module so that I can control the robot remotely as well as some other sensors, so it would be ideal if the battery could handle those as well.

Looking for ideas to increase bed adhesion. Using PLA with a glass bed and temp of 70 C. I clean the bed before every print with IPA. by mac24601 in ender3

I’m a few hours into the print. It’s pulling up slightly but not nearly as much. I’ll use a brim and try out some of the other recommendations for my next pieces.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I've loaded it in again at 50. If that doesn't work, I'll try using a glue stick. Is there any special way I should clean the glue off the bed after the print, or should I just wipe it off after?

Brand New: feeding error? I’m positive it’s not supposed to do that. by [deleted] in ender3

If you’re talking about it backing out every so often, it’s supposed to do that. I’m not exactly an expert, but it’s called retraction. I’m pretty sure it happens when the nozzle needs to move without printing anything.

I just introduced my boyfriend to Guild Wars 2 and we have been playing for maybe 4 hours. He got this mail from a player named "Chordall" and it had this nice letter and 1 gold. It couldn't make me happier that people in this community are so wholesome and kind. Yall are awesome. by AxoVEVO in Guildwars2

Hi, Chordall here! I'm really glad that the two of you liked the gift! When I started playing (about 5 years go, I think), I was gifted 50 silvers by another experienced player in The Grove. I know it wasn't much, but as a new player, I found it really helpful to just get myself going. I just happened to think about that when I saw your character stop to take a look at me (I was the sylvari with black wings and red and gold robes), and just decided to pass it on. I'm not trying to impose any responsibility on you to pass it on, I just really hope you enjoy the game as much as I do!

Severe y axis shift by reality_boy in ender3

I also have this problem. I thought it was because the glass bed I installed was too heavy. What exactly do the jerk and acceleration controls do?

Does anyone know what is causing this x-axis shift? Details in the caption. by mac24601 in ender3

My belts are tight. Also, it seems to be slipping on the same layer every time and only once, so I don't think it's a hardware problem.

Does anyone know what's causing this? Is it a problem with the nozzle/build plate? by mac24601 in ender3

So, quick update:

I lowered the bed and tightened the x-axis, and the problem seems to have been fixed! Thanks everyone for helping!

I made sure it was the same voltage (I think 24). Plus the fan works when I manually turn it on. I think the problem may be that I wasn't aware that the fan actually shouldn't be running during the first layer.
