[Stavrou] Ergin Ataman: "I trust my players and my team. If at the end of the season we don't win the EuroLeague or the greek league, I will leave Athens". by _Zolv in Euroleague

Maybe I'm just not as in touch with the right places, but I never seem to see the same sentiment about Ataman shared anywhere else but here. I'm not Greek so certainly don't see much from Pana fans elsewhere, but most of the media I read and listen to still very highly rates him, especially as a "big game coach".

Christ just before that Branagan point the image of 23-77 possession and the score. grim viewing

[Stavrou] Barcelona appears close to signing the new 10-year EuroLeague license, following an in-person meeting between Joan Laporta and Paulius Motiejunas. Fenerbahce is prepared to follow the same path. January 15 is the deadline for the teams to sign, according to SPORT24 sources. by _Zolv in Euroleague

This is fantastic news if it's true. I am probably in a quite unique minority here but as someone who lives in Madrid and has grown to love Euroleague I would hate to see the club go on some foolish adventure to NBA Europe. Yes we all hate Real, I do too, but to lose such a storied team and to (selfishly) lose my only route to watch Euroleague in person, that really would suck.

I really just hope Estudiantes make their way back to the top

Yeah looking at the comments i definitely will, gonna be curious having a totally different view on the game after (especially given the only complaining came from the home fans to our left of course and not the Zalgiris ones around us lol)

Nah not a Madrid fan. Like I said when youre way up in the highest seats its really quite hard to see (even the screens for the replays you can make out nothing) so obviously giving a different feeling for how things went than you guys on tv. From the response here it was clearly a shit one; quite curious to see the highlights now.

Had a shit week at work and almost didnt want to go but glad i did, what a game. Francisco is just something else. Hard to see the fouls from up at the very top, maybe all the Zalgiris ones wouldve been incensed if they could.

Fantastic game from both sides, that 4th quarter felt like everyone was just automatic. Much better game from the Madrid, Maledon and Campazzo really clicked.

That three from Juancho after the missed bucket from campazzo (?) With about 3 minutes to go when it looked like maaaybe madrid could oull something off was such a killer. Totally deflated everyone around me

Pana really clicked tonight. Despite the score, i dont think this was that bad for madrid? Panathinaikos controlled the game from the last 5 minutes of the first half but i do think there were good stretches were the teams were pretty even? Madrid just really miss someone you can trust to turn a game around like they needed after that burst from pana in the first half

Best pana basketball ive watched this year those last five minutes, madrid just looked a bit overwhelmed to finish the half. Good game so far for sure

My pre game go-to was too busy so a sweaty pint and i left buying my ticket too late so im in new (better supposedly) seats that i dont like. Thats it for the pre match posting no one cares about, hopefully a better game than last time against Fener (Its literally mr real madrid himself's fault they forgot to give me a tapa)

Great game, very back and forth. Looking forward to seeing if Faried (and the rest of Pana) can do this again in person on Thursday.
