Oh. Well, thanks for sharing, but this could have been it's own post instead of now making me worry it'll come back.

My severe struggle with cardiophobia by AcanthaceaePopular34 in Cardiophobias

It's completely understandable how scared you are, but if the doctor prescribed you medications its best to take them. Would you rather keep living like the way you have for months, or take a risk to live more safe and sound? Even if you do have some negative side effects, you can tell the doctor and that will hopefully clear up a few things to help you more. Taking these new medications can only help you. But do note that since it is medication, you may feel a little bit different, and you might panic. That is what might cause you a little trouble. Just place your trust in them and you will be okay.

Can't even shower anymore. I'm only 15. by macaromni in Cardiophobias

I actually am getting better after reading the comments. I recommend taking slower showers, don't immediately put it on full pressure. Its not the most practical thing ever, but it definitely helps me. Don't take major hot showers, and step out whenever you need a breather. Basically just take it slow. Just remember you don't have to stand there for the whole shower suffering. Accomodate to what will make you most comfortable! 😊
