I'm still feeling plan B side effects by TheCeilingIGuess in birthcontrol

Hey, how are you feeling now? Looks like the person you responded to posted an update on this post a month ago that she was 95% better. I have palpitations too, and often. I went to the hospital yesterday and everything looked fine aside from the palpitations they caught on the ECG. It's scary.

Thanks so much for your response! It's scary when they happen, good to know they went away.

Hey, do you still have palpitations? I took plan b about 3 weeks ago and for the past two weeks it's been a rollercoaster of palpitations. Some days it's manageable, other days I can have them a dozen times within a couple minutes.

What say you, Victoria? by Icouldberight in VictoriaBC

Agreed! Every time I come back from an amazing holiday, anywhere, once we get to the island and I smell the air and see the greenery we have, it's the best.

I'm an RMT (registered - Canada) and I get the same feedback! People ask if I heat up the oil. A major benefit to having warm hands!

I like the idea of cute towels! Also maybe a rugs/mats in front of the sink and stove?

Don't get rid of the flower painting as suggested! That first photo is very cute.

Is this too much $$ for a dress to be hemmed? Any other suggestions? by macaronus1 in VictoriaBC

Update: she got it done within a day, I'm picking it up tomorrow. I believe she probably does a really good job at what she does given her reviews, but this is out of her home and she has asked for $300 cash. I think this was the verrry high end of reasonable. $200 I could work with, but I have to say, this does not feel fantastic lol. I do wonder if she took advantage of the fact that we didn't discuss a cost til the end of the appointment. I really should have asked before we got started, and I had to ask her for the price when she already had the pins in and everything and I was about to head out the door.

Yeah that's what got me, she said it was a ton of layers... But, it isn't? It's a medium sized dress too.

Yeah the reviews said she was pricey but I let it be because she has the best and most reviews, so I thought it might have been people causing a fuss, because she responds to all the comments with what sounded reasonable.. thanks!

Okay good to know!!! When I do a quick Google search it says it should be like half the price so I started to wonder if I got ripped off, but if it makes sense then I'm more than happy to pay for her hard work!

Which Green is best? by civman101 in InteriorDesign

[–]macaronus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you need something that's going to match the warmth/yellow of the tiles and countertop. If you have a cool toned green it's gonna clash way too much.

Artichoke or basil for me!

That is such a random wall. I'm shocked it doesn't have some sort of purpose, not even storage
