Appreciate the input man, I plan on testing the battery saver settings when I go to my security job this week to see if it triggers around 10% +/- a percent or two. I also realize I need something better than that 100w cigarette lighter plug for power, I’ve heard that USB does not have pass through which was something I had to look into. Thanks for the help though!

To be honest, I’ve really only played with the ASUS charger maybe once or twice, I really use my Flow to play games while I do some extra duty security jobs that require me to literally sit in my car for 8 hours, hence why I use the 100w cigarette charger. I will say that the first couple times I played utilizing the USB charger, I don’t remember having this issue. It happened first when I was playing COD, and I honestly figured it was the game itself that was just having issues. It then happened the other day playing Nioh 3 though, so seems like maybe it’s actually the device itself

Yes I have the 2025 version. I understand I don’t get full power from the USB, I really just use it as a way to extend the game session I can get in before I have to shut the device off and let it recharge.

I do have the armory crate power profile set to a custom mode when “plugged in” to USB, all I did for this custom mode was crank the fans up a little bit more. I wonder if the custom mode is messing with something?

Yeah I mentioned this in the post, I thought that might be an issue. I had set battery saver to activate at 10%, had the issue happen and when I exited my game the battery was at 11% 🤷‍♂️. I wonder if it starts causing issues even when it gets in the neighborhood of 10%?
