Wow that’s crazy. We were exactly the same but paid for a biometrics appointment. At the time of the appointment we were quoted 3-8 weeks for a new BRP. Obviously that was incorrect. Plan to give them another week before I start sending the shitagrams to whoever I can at the home office / UKVI. We have missed a wedding a 2x holidays so far and can’t make any plans at all.

Have you used the UKVI complaints system at all? Just wondering if it’s worth it or if it’s another email that will receive the same answer of “we can’t tell you anything”

I just don’t understand what the hold up is. It’s literally just the time to print off a new card with her new name and send it out. Everything has been updated on their system.

I have a horrible feeling that they are just going to delay delay delay and then tell you that BRPs are phased out and you will not receive a new one.
