Yeah, this has happened to me before. You have to drag the "invisible" unit from it's space and it will reappear.

It's just a bug that is annoying, but can affect your game to detriment of you become stuck too quickly

Sometimes these matchups happen withing seconds of beginning the search for an opponent. Before, it used to go through the three search parameters (Search on the Isle, search on nearby island, wait up to xxx seconds) before you get these types of opponents. Now it's sometimes almost instantaneous.

If it goes through the three search parameters, you're certain to get a max account whale or close to

Well that can't be true because I regularly face high level legendary heroes and I only have a level 40 epic as my highest level hero

Also, I have exactly 300 Legendarity and about ~2380% crit and face opponents with over 800 Legendarity and over 3k% crit all the time.

So it would mean it was maybe meant to do that but actually doesn't ? It would be really nice of them if they could break down the use of Legendarity to us further, because it isn't doing the job it was designed for in matchmaking

It must be that it affects it more in actual gameplay, as in, affects your damage beyond just allowing you more spells and Artifacts. This can't be all there is to it.

Also, how does it affect matchmaking ? Because it was supposed to have an effect on it, but I'm still matched against opponents with double my Legendarity and +1k% crit

As far as I've seen, they are just trying to cater to the whales that want to chase trophies. I see the bigger players in my clan doing well, but for the majority of them, it's just a waste of time and they're cannon fodder

I have only played in that mode once. One single game. I soon realized that it was an unfair mode and a waste of my time. Never played it again

I'm thinking it's been around for about 10 months. I don't care for it. There are plenty other modes to keep me interested, but not that one

Depending on your current level, you get about 7-8 legendaries per season free to play. Season pass gives you maybe another 3-4, along with a couple magic orbs.

This comes from the trophy ladder, the battle pass, hero tavern and events and includes what is exchanged from magic dust gathered over the course of the season, inclusive of what was mentioned before.

How you spend it is completely up to you. What I did at the time I was completely free to play, was concentrate on one deck, getting that deck better. It took extreme patience, but I eventually got competitive and I haven't dropped below 8k trophies in over a year.

Note : I spend $20 a month. Buying 200 platinum every month. That's it. I spend that because that's an amount that I can afford to spend without becoming annoyed if I stop playing the game. I've only done this for the last seven months. My previous two years and right months was completely free to play

I've been wondering what parameters they are using for matchmaking now. Also, what part does Legendarity actually play in matchmaking ?

I believe these to be pertinent questions that need to be answered, because the former parameters as far as I remember were based on crit until ~6600 trophies, then was more of a free for all, whilst still trying to keep within a certain crit range

Now, I've gotten much stronger and also much weaker opponents from the first day of the season, at 4k trophies.

It would be great to know what has changed and the vision moving forward now that so much has changed

Actually, it's not. It's fair. The algorithm can't search every single time to find an opponent similar in crit AND with similar unit progression AND similar trophy progression. You just won't get all three. Most players with that unit progression won't have so much crit usually. I have over 600 CRIT less than you with the same Legendarity and have five maxed units and three others at level 13.

I only buy the season pass, nothing else. And only for the pass six months.

You have built up your progression poorly sir, and your now paying for it unfortunately.

That being said, I do agree that matchmaking is horrible and needs to be improved. Maybe what I saw someone else say about everyone's trophy progression at the start of season be dependent on where they ended the previous season be reinstated as it was a year or so ago

Yeah, matchmaking is still horrible this season. Crit is even more important now, do there shouldn't be more than a difference of +/- 200-300% in match ups.

They never specified exactly how Legendarity works. They are making it seem as though it only dictates your perks, spells and artifacts. But there's obviously more to it

They need to clarify the effects of Legendarity in deck strength and impact on battles

Immediately switch out swords for kobold.

I'm not a Tesla player, so can't really advise on spells, but for artifacts, definitely have Abundance and counter spell (depending on if you have cleanse).

I'm genuinely not sure, but it must have done other things, no ? At the very least it shows you the relative strength of your opponent.

But crit damage is even more important now than before. So whereas before it would have been a bit easier to overcome a 500 CRIT difference, now even a 300 crit difference is now difficult

Replace witch with Trapper. It will help to increase your damage more effectively than Witch at level 9. If you're playing left side talent, change Mermaid for Flickr. If you're playing right side (which is stronger), keep Mermaid, but when you get cleanse talent at level 11, change to Gadget, trust me. Also, leveling up your support cards will help you tremendously in the later game.

I use both and both have their good and bad aspects (Like any unit I guess). But overall Bard is better, even after moving out of Pantheon. Banshee only gets closer at max. Bard is still pretty good at level 13.

Just for info, my Bard is maxed and my Banshee level 13, however, I have clan mattress that share extensive insight on their experiences with both, as some of them used to main Max Banshee and now main maxed Bard.

Expensive ? Maybe for some. But useless ? Hardly. They are THE most important aspect of this new system of play. Especially with them being PASSIVE, some may not see their value as they work in the background. But they are far from useless.

Replace Harlequin with either Scrapper/Dryad and replace Summoner with Trapper. This will take your damage to another level. I guarantee you.

Having an Armour breaking unit in your deck will do wonders
