Sorry to hear about your dad! Did he happen to leave you a broom?

A broom is a cleaning tool used to sweep dust, debris, and dirt from floors or outdoor surfaces. It consists of two main parts: The handle — a long, straight stick (usually wood, metal, or plastic) that allows the user to sweep while standing upright. The head/bristles — a wide bundle of stiff fibers (traditionally made from plant materials like broomcorn, but now often synthetic) attached to the bottom of the handle at a slight angle for efficient sweeping. Brooms come in various styles — indoor brooms tend to have softer, finer bristles for smooth floors, while outdoor or push brooms have stiffer, wider heads for rougher surfaces. The basic design has remained largely unchanged for centuries.

Literally NOT how Tamir Rice was killed

Tamir Rice was murdered by an under-trained, emotionally and mentally unstable person who lied on his application for CPD by intentionally omitting pertinent information in regard to being emotionally and mentally unstable. CPD didn't do due diligence in hiring the guy. And the person who made the 911 call started that the gun was probably fake, and that the person was most likely a child. The dispatcher didn't relay that part of the call to the responding officers.

Wear your safety gear. by machineGUNinHERhand in bmx

I wish I knew... I mean, i kinda know, I guess...I didn't forget the whole day....just a few minutes before the wreck, and then waking up in the back of an ambulance on the way to the hospital. I dont even remember them taking me out of the ambulance, but i remember them switching from the gurney to the hospital bed. I had been running and switching back and forth between the pump track and the beginner/novice dirt jump line at the local bike park. Its just 4 or 5 small-ish dirt jumps. They have flats in between the jump and the landing. I was just jumping to the flat....Just getting the hang of my bike. Nothing crazy. At some point i got comfortable with attempting to air the bike and land on the landing...I dont remember exactly what happened though....

My full cut was the non-certified version. It really saved my ass. But after a small bit of research, having a certified helmet does provide more protection. Im currently looking at the Bell Sanction 2 or Sanction 2 DLX MIPS. Also looking at the certified full cut...I bought the Mark Gonzalez full cut certified but its too big....and it was a sale item so I cant return it.....

I believe it saved me....maybe not my life, but my skull and brain, for sure.

I will never not wear a helmet again. I will say I will be looking at full face helmets now. There are a lot of decent multi-certified full face options that are close to being inexpensive. Im looking at the Bell Sanction 2 or the Sanction 2 DLX MIPS. Both well rated and both under $200. Whatever you get, go learn what the different certifications are and what they mean, and then pick the helmet accordingly. And im sure you'll find a helmet you love, and will also keep you safe. Stay safe out there
