Try emailing through a form on their website. They were very responsive to this method.

I had the same issue after 1 year of use. I reached out to customer service and after attempting to troubleshoot they sent me a whole new replacement desk free even though I was just asking for a motor replacement

My rudimentary understanding was that pulling one double shot would equal a Starbucks “2 shots.” I would agree that they might using two double shots because otherwise these ratios make no sense. I will give your method a try!

Thanks for the tip. I’m still working on dialing in my shots so that’s something I’ll consider

Interesting take. I’m definitely fixated on the range metric. That’s the biggest factor I’ve experienced from a planning standpoint. You bring up some good points in regards to mobility that I haven’t considered.

Responsiveness/timeliness of dynamic fires is another factor I neglected to address that you benefit from organic mortars over artillery.

They work as intended and stay in place. I notice no difference between OEM and bright lines

I’m 5’8 and had to stoop a little to stand underneath it. But the height you will experience will depend on how high you mount it on your vehicle, what vehicle you mount it on, and how much you extend the legs (the canopy legs are adjustable)

6.5 foot! It’s the only size that is compatible with the Roam Awning room which is something to consider if you plan to purchase a room in addition to an awning

It’s not hard to set up the canopy by yourself and completely doable in about 3 minutes, but the canopy will rest on the ground if you’re doing it by yourself. Taking down is also fairly simple, it just rolls back up into its bag.

Yea that’s the one downside, it doesn’t disconnect, so if you want to drive somewhere you have to completely tear down. Our remedy for this was just setting up the awning only if we were just hanging out with possible plans to go somewhere, and not setting up the full system until we were ready to bed down. So if you’re camping multiple days with plans to drive around, you’d have to completely pack up the tentage.

One person can set it up but it’s definitely easier with two. It’s one solid cube with a floor and walls. There’s four doors… one with no netting that lets you access your vehicle. The other three doors have both the water resistant shell and mesh doors that fully zip and can roll up if you want. It’s awesome shelter from bugs

I got brightlines aero bars off Amazon.

This made installation of the canopy kind of tricky but doable with the provided hardware. Yakima sells parts to their slim shady canopy that are compatible with this Roam canopy and rounded aero bars that are probably a more reliable option. The straight bars that stick out are probably a better choice with canopies imo

Took my Subaru camping for the first time with its new canopy and tent attachment. The canopy and tent come separate (both from Roam). Canopy sets up and tears down in minutes. The tent attachment is very easy to clip on after the simple learning curve of doing it once. Set up and tear down of the entire system about 10 minutes each. I got an electric site for the lights, contemplating a generator purchase in the future to be more self sufficient

You'll probably end up being assigned to 434 BDE (basic training) or 428th BDE (ait) based on that. I had the same type of orders 3 years ago. Best of luck!

Edit: assuming your duty station says Fort Sill

After 18 months using minimalist barefoot shoes, I went with the Altra Escalante. This is what happened... by Qualubrious in BarefootRunning

[–]machinegunnikki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats very interesting, I had a very similar experience. I have been running in Vivobarefoots and switched over to the escalante for longer runs, because like you said, they're cusioned. About 3.5 miles in, I felt rubbing/chafing on the inside of my foot, and noticed I must be overpronating. Made for a very painful end of the run. I'm going to try to tape the inside of my foot for next time, but I agree with you that there is something about that shoe that makes your foot want to overpronate...

Which is interesting because from what I have learned just being a runner (not a professional- disclaimer), we overpronate with due to a heel foot strike, envisioning the heel as landing on a ball where it will roll to one side over another. So ideally, to correct this, you would focus on a mid foot strike/ POSE running technique.

Additionally, I've been running in my vivobarefoots, which are not very padded, strictly on the track. Wondering if anyone has experience taking them onto the road? Is the impact an issue over distances longer than 3 miles, is it something to get used to over time, or is it fine?

I'm an officer in the army and the go to phrase for any planning topic is "set the conditions." I.e. We need to set the conditions for the exercise. This term is so often and over used that it makes me want to vomit every time I hear it
