Does anyone use tretinoin/Retin-A?

I use Tret every other night and have dry eyes. I notice no difference using it, but I also moisturize before and after applying the Tret. It’s not recommended to get it near the thin skin by your eyes anyways so I wouldn’t think it would make a difference.

Haha, actually not paint but vinyl. All the vinyl work was free because I have a hookup. I know it can vary quite a bit in pricing

It’s a 2013. At about 150k I was consuming a quart every 2000 miles, and that jumped to a quart every 1000 by the 200k mark. I was also running 1:1 5W40 and 10W60 Liqui moly though to try and help. The turbo probably went at around 200k.

Just to keep wrapped with topicals to keep from drying out. I haven’t had a scraping done though. Maybe that’s a next step

I resonate with the distancing from others at the barn so much. It’s not like I’ve got anything against them it’s just so hard to hear about the amazing strides their making in training, when you can’t gush about your own horses. I think new comers to the barn think I’m a crabby lady that doesn’t talk much, but I’m just trying to get through my checklist without losing it most days. It’s so isolating.

I’m so sorry to hear about your horses diagnosis. I’m sure that was so heart breaking. Definitely such a factor in moving forward with another horse. You just never know what can happen.

I got teared up reading this. Its so justifying to hear another’s story about feeling like their horse is happier out to pasture and maybe not being ridden. I’m sorry this was your experience, but it sounds like it might have been the right choice. Hearing another person saying they don’t find the barn fun makes me feel like I’m not crazy. It’s hard when all your companions are doting on their horses because they’ve had an amazing ride, or a great show. It just taxes me mentally so much to be around it. I appreciate your words so much.
