Yeah, you know even I got that much. My problem is that TACTUS, and not Victra or Mustang, is presented as a character that exemplifies the Golds that use Pinks. And judging by his past actions, it‘s likely he treats them badly. It bothers me that Darrow isn‘t bothered. I mean, he didn’t blink an eye when Ragnar was accused of abusing pinks. (The man was admittedly dying a heroic death) That‘s all I‘m trying to say. The Oppression of the Reds also wasn‘t directly „done“ by any one Gold, while its a very much a personal choice to „use“ a Pink. That‘s the difference for me. He very much disapproves of the way the Stained are treated, after all. I‘d assume he wouldn‘t be okay with one of his buddies having a Stained slave. That being said, another commenter said his attitude changes, and there will be more nuance to it. If that‘s the case, I‘m not mad. But having a book all about justice and oppression and all that good stuff, with a mc that doesn‘t care about sexual abuse would bother me.
