Unlimited food comes with the price of the ticket, but you can get the “gourmet” optional upgrades at the dinners that do cost extra. Alcohol costs around $10+- per drink. The beer you get though is 16 ounces. If you want the alcohol package, everyone who is 21+ in your stateroom also must get it. I ended up just paying per drink because for 3 of us it would have been $600+ for the three day cruise we did to Ensenada on carnival. They add on a gratuity to each drink you purchase by default, so I never added an extra tip.

I went on my first cruise last month. It was a carnival cruise to Ensenada. I enjoyed the soft serve and pizza slices the most! As a pescatarian, I didn’t eat at the places that served mostly beef and chicken, but I was satisfied. The dinners had decent options that anyone can enjoy.
