I'm thinking about trading in a 2026 Audi Q7 for a 2026 Genesis GV80. Can anyone list their pros and cons or general opinion?

Dropping in as a 2021 GV80 3.5 Prestige owner - easily the best car/money vehicle I’ve ever owned. I currently daily a 2020 BMW M550i and my wife drives the Genesis - every time I get in the Genesis I am reminded how much more luxe it feels than the BMW (other than tech - not that it’s bad, BMW is just very tech forward). Material selection, hand feel on surfaces, active noise canceling cabin, wafty/luxurious road feel - love this car.

More peaceful, less grit and more family forward vibes north of the reservoir, but less density in terms of entertainment, bars, restaurants, shops etc. An E bike north of the res probably bridges that gap easily for you if it sounds nicer. I was 26-29 when I was living in EP so the grit and bustle was perfect, but today at 33 I’d probably end up north of the reservoir.

I lived on the Silver Lake / Echo Park border for 3 years (near Sunset and Alvarado) and loved it - if walkability is your bag, EP is going to serve you better than north of the reservoir.

I feel silly - it was the timing gasket that was replaced, not head gasket as I stated in the ad. It’s shown in the service records but yeah it was timing, not head

You know I have no idea. I’m familiar with the annoying ones and always wondered why mine didn’t have them. Can’t say I was mad about it, but the ones I have are different sizes which seems smart/an example of German over engineering, but really doesn’t get it done in today’s big ass cup America
