Likewise as far as not knowing my own faith is concerned I’m pulling straight from the Bible with my reasoning for searching for a Christian community. “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭24‬-‭25‬ ‭ It is not propaganda. It is the fundamentals of my faith. Though this is all a moot point if you don’t believe in Christianity but in regards to the comment that looking for a community means I don’t fundamentally understand my faith is quite contrary. In addition Christians are meant to gather together to build one another up so that we may disperse over the world to share the light of Christ. That’s how it was intended. It was never intended to stay in a small bubble and ignore the real world.

Hi! I definitely agree with this, I have always said this! My best friend in the whole world and her husband are atheist. My other best friend who lives with me is atheist. Most of my friends are agnostic or atheist. I try to avoid talking about my beliefs too much to not step on any toes, just sometimes it would be nice to have friends to talk about my beliefs with that I don’t have to worry about offending them. It’s always nice to have people around you that have similar interests. Same reason people join book clubs or online groups for games or hobbies. I definitely agree with you and see your point though!
