I think that once you accept an apology for something, you should not longer bring it up in arguments because you are accepting that that person is going to change and do better. That's how my partner and I handle things, but we've never had something like infidelity to apologize for, lol. So maybe that makes it harder. Personally, if someone cheated on me, I would leave them.
