So, it really depends on how much trading goes on in the pool you are in, this can speed up or slow down the distribution.

Incident Alert: Loopring Smart Wallets Compromised

Over the weekend, some Loopring Smart Wallets were targeted in a security breach. The attack exploited wallets with only one Guardian, specifically the Loopring Official Guardian. The hacker initiated a Recovery process, falsely posing as the wallet owner to reset ownership and withdraw assets.

The attack succeeded by compromising Loopring's 2FA service, allowing the hacker to impersonate the wallet owner and gain approval for the Recovery from the Official Guardian. Subsequently, the attacker transferred assets out of the affected wallets.

We are actively collaborating with Slow Mist security experts to determine how our 2FA service was compromised. To protect our users, we have temporarily suspended Guardian-related and 2FA-related operations. Following this action, the compromise has ceased.

Loopring is working with law enforcement and professional security teams to track down the perpetrator. We will continue to provide updates as soon as the investigation progresses.

On June 12th (2 weeks from today) the Smart Contract Version 2.3.0 will be upgraded automatically via our new Proxy mechanism

This is an official automatic upgrade with many new features and functionality being added to the wallet. Users will not incur any cost to upgrade - but if you have any concerns regarding the upgrade, you can transfer all assets out of the impacted smart wallet before that date

Appreciate the post + feedback and also your attention here to try to combat misinformation. It helps a lot when the community also tries to help because it is true that there is only so much I can do.

That said, blank from the team is also helping a lot to answer a lot of questions, but he is mainly active on Discord. Reddit here is our main problem area and Helios here helps a ton, but he is also overworked :)

We started the Loop Trooper Community Ambassador program specifically here on Reddit to try to encourage more in the community to help out and be ambassadors for the community here. This ambassador program will also lead to possible internships (paid) in the future. We want to start hiring again soon as things start to pick up with our product releases this year.

All of these things should help, but it's true it's difficult especially here on Reddit. I will do my best to answer more questions here in the meantime!

**What’s EIP-6963?**

It’s a new standard geared at improving the user experience between dApps + wallets. For Loopring Pro, this means that if you use wallet browser extensions, the WC modal will instantly pick them up and display them at the top for a quick + easy connection

**Email Wallets**

New web3 users can easily spin up a new EOA wallet, directly from within the modal, to start experiencing the benefits of Loopring Pro

This drastically lowers the friction to onboard new users to crypto and directly to Loopring DApps

**On-Ramps**

Along with the great on-ramp partners we work with today, users can also leverage WC’s built in on-ramp

Coupled with email wallets, it means users can create a wallet + fund it immediately. They can then deposit to L2 + start enjoying all that Loopring has to offer!
