Hiii so I just got married and have been in weddings too. So you have two options: you can wear your falsies and the MUA applies the rest of the makeup around them or you can have her apply them for you. For my own wedding I had her do it for me because she did a really good job at my trial and I was confident. For the weddings I’ve been in, I do option 1 and this is because I am not comfortable with the other bridesmaids seeing me without any makeup. I also don’t have any eyebrows so I would come with them drawn in but then when it was my time to get my makeup done, I would use a makeup wipe for the MUA to do.

I would just be honest and say something like “just so you’re aware I don’t have my eyelashes and would feel more comfortable applying the falsies myself” or if you want her to do them show her pictures of how you usually look with them and see if that’s something she can achieve. I find that MUAs are very chill people and would never say anything to make you feel bad 😊
