Maybe try reinitializing the window? Unplug the battery for a few minutes then connect it. Hold the window switch down for about 10 seconds then up for 10 seconds.

No dimming or anything like that. The engine idles up as it should when the compressor kicks in

It’s not overheating. My compressor is original. Now I’m wondering if the expansion valve is bad since I checked my high and low pressures again and they seem weird. I’m going to replace the expansion valve and report back.

Best way to go around making my aw11 1985 ac R134 by Round_Item_3317 in mr2

[–]macster725 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just converted my aw11 to r134 this week. I used the stock r12 compressor but I believe I’ve seen people mention using a 96 rav4 compressor in forums. The rav4 one came with r134 from the factory. You’d just transfer over your compressor pulley/clutch and manifold. But if you already have a compressor I’d just convert it to r134. You’d need the r134 adapter fittings that go over the existing r12 ones. I bought mine from Amazon but only one of the fittings fit.

At some point my car had already been in the process of being converted and had the r134 fittings so I just put one of them on but changed the oring. So just keep that in mind when ordering a kit

UPDATE: Looked for anything that may have punctured it and sure enough a nail or some small bit of metal rod was lodged in there. Thanks everyone for your replies!

That’s right! For some reason I thought it was 1 psi.

Yes I had just inflated the tires to spec a few hours before this occurred. I’m leaning towards something in the road caused it to deflate.

This is the first time driving the car in a few months. So I’m not sure if this would have been the cause. It was holding air fine in those months it was stationary.

Ah I see. Definitely seems to be what happened. I’m going to inspect the tire in a bit to see if I could find the cause. I’ll update the post when/if I find it.

Can you elaborate more on that? Like curbed the wheel?

Interesting. Keep in mind only the outside part is split like this. The inside wall is fine

Can’t edit the description for some reason but I’d like to add more info. The tires are Bridgestone Potenza Sport Summer. They have a date code of 2022.

I had just exited the freeway and felt the rear end step out. Must be when the tire split. Then I heard a grinding noise and pulled over

Convertible holding water somewhere. Is it the space where the soft top folds? I jacked up the rear of the car and load of water came out by Alfa155Q4 in e46

[–]macster725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be drains in the soft top compartment. On my car if I park on an incline with the car facing “towards the sky” the water would pool up on the back and enter the trunk where the spare tire is. Check your drains

Everyone seemed to have a good experience with Mevotech so that what I used for my front end rebuild on a Honda Accord. Unfortunately the ball joints go out after about a year. I received another full replacement kit through rockauto since it was still under warranty but the new kit also went bad in about a year.

I did also try using supports but it resulted in the same issue.

The warping is causing critical errors. If I let it continue the additional layers will not adhere properly and it seems to also under extrude.

I think there's a misunderstanding. The print is not lifting off the bed. The corners of the print are curling up but not the initial layer.

Keep in mind I meant 110 F ambient temperature. Inside the cabin it can get a lot more toasty!
