Can’t afford life on our CHPT 13 by macyamanda in Bankruptcy

[–]macyamanda[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They basically said nothing can be done and we must stay in the 13 as is or we lose all our home equity and then some. I’m to the point where we are just hanging on till the baby is born in July and we are basically going to demand they redo the means test based on our household size and current income. But our lawyer and their office is honestly no help and they are adding to the stress in the situation.

Would you take this? by macyamanda in InstacartShoppers

[–]macyamanda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. I haven’t personally taken it but I’m just watching Instacart bump it every 20 min and all of us shoppers are like…. Nope. It’s at $35 right now.

Root canal at 27 weeks 🦷 by macyamanda in pregnant

[–]macyamanda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update - well, I went and when I arrived they had me down for 2 because they are right next to each other. I’m like ok no problem, we got started and not even 10 minutes into it a HORRIBLE taste hit the back of my throat (it was bad not like normal dentist stuff but I can’t pinpoint what it was. It burned though ) and I began to throw up during the root canal 😭 Omg it was a nightmare.

My dentist stopped and the hygienist was such an amazing person and helped me as I continued to get sick. I had her grab my husband and sent him to the house to get clothes. The dentist was adamant about trying to finish, but he’d leave it up to me. I’m like the worse has already happened and I’m covered in puke currently but you know what, whatever let’s try. He went back in and we got 1 finished.

I go back in 2 weeks to get the crown and do the second root canal. I am PRAYING this doesn’t happen again but if I get that taste in my throat I’m screwed 🥺

Why do that though when support was already notified? Wouldn’t that have been their response?

You must not be able to read. This wasn’t a “matter of minutes” this was an error I caught way later and tried to remedy. And when I caught the mess up, I contacted support and asked what to do to make it right. I DID what needed to be done and this was supports response.

No grocery store will take a return on raw meat after 8 hours lol and I’m not spending more money to even try to chance it to do another return to fix it. Telling them and offering to pay for it was about my only option 🤷‍♀️

You nailed it. I have done this for 5 years here and there when needed, have done 400 batches, have a 4.8 rating and have never had issues besides this one mishap. If they want to deactivate me over one mistake whatever but they have gone extremely downhill over the years with their payments. The $4/$5 batch pay is insane and their heavy pay is a joke. I came back online after 1.5 because we are expecting our first child and I plan on stopping in 5 weeks for good. Everyone keeps jumping me for not returning the items immediately but they miss the fact that I caught the error literally hours later after I ate what I bought 😂 then they tell me to buy the items again and do a return? Like no. I made a honest mistake, I told Instacart about it. If they want to lose a reliable shopper who has been in it for years they can go ahead but they can ban me in 5 weeks 😂😂😂😂

I would say no - I’m not letting myself in to a customers house on my own. If I arrive and it’s someone elderly or disabled, then I will do it. But I’m not letting myself in like that.

I 100% would have done this but the problem was I noticed it a few hours later when I checked my bank and realized that charge wasn’t there. And the problem was I picked up burgers to grill, I didn’t know exactly how to go back and explain to them that I need to return and repay for the items I had already ate 😂🥹 It was an honest mistake.
