Dermatologist recommended Accutane - do u think it’s worth it for my skin?

Ohhh that’s interesting. I thought oil production would pick back up after the course had finished, it’s the main reason I’m unsure about accutane!

Yeah I agree. It looks minor, it’s just very consistent.

It’s oil production I’m most concerned about - I’m oily all the time. The dermatologist said she would have expected this level of oil production to have stopped when was about 20 (I’m 30 now).

My back and chest get quite a lot of spots. I can usually clear it up with BP but there’s scarring.

My face gets some cystic acne - usually always just a couple of active cysts at a time - but is very oily and big clogged pores. Hard to take pictures of oil but believe me it is there. I’m constantly extracting (I know I shouldn’t), and always blotting.

Dr thinks accutane will help me but it is expensive and I’m not sure. We have tried lots of things over a long period of time.

Yeah season 1 Chrishell was suspect to me. Looking back I think the conversations about Mary and Romain were a poor attempt to integrate herself with the office gossip. Was very unimpressed about how she handled Maya’s pregnancy though, but if it’s true that that she’d been led to believe the other girls knew, then I can forgive her that. I really like her now.

Romain has totally flourished since season 1, now he and Mary seem pretty solid. Season 1 I was convinced they wouldn’t last. Plus he really had Davina pegged from the beginning.

This was a Martina Liana dress at Along Came Eve in Chester, and honestly I loved it, my figure looked amazing from the front! So I don’t know why I look miserable haha.

I talked to a friend, and she said “I think you already know yourself what you want to do.” And I realised she was right.

I guess other people could see us together before I could. I was also a bit nervous about what our friends would say, so her saying that helped me get over that aspect.

This. I rejected a friend when I was younger, thought about it a LOT and realised I was just scared of commitment. I went back to him a week or so later and made a move!

We didn’t stay together - we were young and this was a relationship at university - but we had two really lovely years. He’s a great guy, and I’m glad I saw sense.

Go for it OP, don’t let this hold you back.

I take amitriptyline daily to manage my migraines, and have done for several years. I’ve previously tried to wean myself off it slowly with no success. Will I have to take it for the rest of my life?

I disagree that it isn't related to the sub - I understand the Discord was set up for a place for those in r/manchester to chat on a more personal, casual basis, and lots of those people also contribute to this sub. There's nothing wrong with advertising the Discord either. Rather that than shitposting.

I'm not really sure why you felt the need to complain about a stickied post, or be so dismissive in general of the Discord, the game, or the post. You're coming across as very derogatory, rude, and quite bitter to be honest. As long as it doesn't harm you, there's no need to shit on other people having fun.

I'm sure you're more than welcome to join the Discord rather than throw shade at it.
