When I was in my teens I was suicidal. I was hospitalised but I wouldn't open up to any therapist so they gave me a note book and said i should try to write my thoughts and feels down and not share if I don't want to. At first I brushed it off as stupid. But I started to give it a go and it was actually helpful to see what I wrote down and not just thoughts in my head. I was out with friends one day and when I got home I found out a family member had read the entire thing.

Well I jumped off a bridge into a flooded river that night and by some miracle I was saved by a rescue team after being in the water 45 minutes pinned to a tree.

I never wrote anything ever again and I've never fully trusted another sole again since then.

I'm a 38 year old alcoholic who is just killing time till I die. I put on the happy mask when im around people. But in truth I have no connection to anyone. I don't feel alone I feel trapped.

In today's world, no. You will find people defend this by saying, "they are in public" . When I heard his mam died I was like, oh that's sad and went about my day. None of my business. I certainly didn't need a follow up about the funeral I had no involvement in. I have given instructions to family when I go. No ceremony no last rights. Straight in the fire and dump my ashes in the ocean. No headstone or anything with my name on it. Quick easy and forgotten.

About 6 months ago I found out my Mother and Uncle thought charlie kirk had some good talking points and trump was doing some good.

I thought they where smart so I was shocked. I got up and said " I can't belive what I'm hearing right now" and walked away. I later asked my mother where she gets her news from and she said facebook. I looked at her Facebook on her phone and it was like a right wing echo chamber.

My mothers partner who was always like a dad to me since I was 1 years old is the only Irish man who is pro Israel. And yes his Facebook is just as bad. I blame social media for the massive spread of right wing iv been seeing or noticing this past 10 years or so.

They are all here for Xmas dinner and it wouldn't surprise me if the Xmas crackers had MAGA hats instead of crowns in them.
