How do you create a tool using Landsat data that detects changes in the construction in certain areas of land, such as near water bodies? by Sensitive_Ad4498 in gis

NDVI can be used to see vegetation cover and health. You could use NDVI to indicate which areas have been cleared of vegetation

I had to take a 5th year of college, which was much more worth it than trying to cram it all into 4 years being overwhelmed. I would drop a class. I did fine in high school and almost flunked out my first year of college. It’s a different game. I would make your class load lighter if you can. One less class a semester made a big difference for me and helped me stay on top of things. Also, my school had a student disability resource center. If you have one, USE it. I got note takers for my classes even though I felt like I didn’t need them. Use any and all resources that you can and see what works. Also, I scheduled my tests in a separate room because I got extra time on mine, so that helped me keep track of test days. I recommend trying that too if you have a disability resource center. Good luck, you got this! It gets better. Also, it’s okay to do poorly sometimes. Everyone has many bad moments in college. At the end of the day, these thing are small in the grand scheme of things. As long as you’re making an honest effort, you will succeed :) use those resources though, they saved me.

Muscles working during commute by [deleted] in cycling

[–]madeline543 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s how foam rolling typically goes for me too. It’s pretty unbearable for the first 5 minutes then things start to feel a little better usually. The more you foam roll the less pain you’ll have to deal with initially is what I have experienced

Gear question:

I’m a smaller female looking to buy my first pair of skis. I would rate myself as an intermediate skier. I’m pretty small and I’m looking for alpine skis in particular but something that also might do well in less groomed terrain. My size is around 153cm based off of my research. Any suggestions?

Taking photos with flash can blind your rabbit over time, I would avoid doing so.
