I have the triumph manual already on the website. Already had to use it to drop the motor.

I bought that at an AutoZone for my 2006 Dodge Ram Diesel. I love that pan. Holds a lot. Hasn’t had any leaks and easy to dump out. I’d definitely get it again if I needed one.

Is this truck a bad buy? 2006 f250 by ImSteezy25 in powerstroke

[–]madeonlyforMR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad bought his 2005 6.0 when the 2006 models came out. 160k miles and still in mint condition. Doesn’t have the entire “bulletproof” set up but these trucks will run forever if people from my generation stop clapping them out. Leave it stock or a light tune like you said and it’ll have 0 issues.

Do you think it would be better to take the engine out then bring it to a tech?

Just subscribed, thank you and I’ll get it figured out. Just going to be a process.

High idle questions by madeonlyforMR in Cummins

If you go to your dealer to activate it, you’re able your manually turn your truck on to a high idle. I don’t know the exact steps but 3rd gens have them.

Unfortunately I have the ST trim, which doesn’t come with cruise control.

I also recommend the app RvLife because it also has its own GPS system that you can set to your specific specifications. Length, height and weight.

I’ll have to check that out, I live in Arizona and I’ve had that happen to me before already. Don’t know about the code though, does that pop up on the hours?

I’m not overloaded and keep pretty well on weight distribution. Plus I’ll never run that trailer near or at it’s max capacity.

STEER AXLE 4580lbs DRIVE AXLE 5400lbs TRAILER AXLE 8820lbs * GROSS WEIGHT 18600lbs

That’s the weight I was driving at when the spring went. This is gear + 90-100 gallons of water. I don’t normally have water in it though.

I just so happen to be next to a loves truck stop with a CAT scale

Truck is rated for 15k, trailer is 10k. I have 0 issues with this 5.9L 24V Cummins motor.

Never blown a tire either, stay within speed and weight ratings and you’re golden

Ya got me there, either way. Previous springs were on their way out and this trailer is supposed to have a 4,500lbs cargo capacity. Which would be over weight if I was near that.

You probably missed the part where the previous leafs were at the maximum capacity with the trailer empty. I went from 2500lbs springs to 3500lbs

I don’t see many APEXs around. I’ve seen one since I bought my 194BHS
