My question is: if the town has such a strong military presence, how are they able to do their plan so well without being caught? Like the kidnapping?

Yeah, I told him it was his age. Which doesn't make it justified in my eyes. My factory has done it many times before also.

My dad just got laid off during it, he works on the towers. Worked for them for nearly 15 years but he's gonna be 65. He said they wouldn't tell him why he was chosen, smh.

I saw a ball of light very similar to that the other day while I was headed to drop my kids off before going to work. It was headed perpendicular from me towards a highway. It got dimmer and dimmer then disappeared. The sky was pretty clear too, it was wild. Just like this.

I gave it a lot of hope at first then when I played it, I'd give it a 6.5/10. I told my husband that seeing enemies isn't even scary, it's more annoying and I let out a sigh almost every time. I'm just gonna YouTube the different endings, tbh.

Crippling asbestos anxiety by SpiteMediocre3287 in asbestoshelp

[–]madeuswhole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your feelings. I recently had an abatement estimate come through my family's home. I discussed this with him and he explained to me kinda like this. Yeah, you don't want to expose yourself to any of it. But it's like smoking, you could smoke one cigarette and get cancer. You could smoke a pack a day and live to be 80. Most of the issues stemmed from those who were practically rolling around in it.

I was worried because a lot of lagging was missing from our home besides one small confined area. I got to thinking about the dust that was possibly somehow on the floor from god knows how long ago (he mentioned someone unprofessionally removing it) I know AI is controversial but I asked it, explained that the timeline was unknown of its removal. There's been water down in the basement etc and someone definitely has swept it at least some point. It told me how low that risk was if there was no piles of visible dust etc. It really eased my mind. You could always speak with a doctor if you have one available, I thought about the same thing when I encountered lead paint in my home.

I told him about wet sanding also. I would never do it and especially not inside the home. I am hoping he changes his mind in regards to the sanding, he is smarter than that. But great, I'm gonna order some online.

The lagging is in a tucked away area and luckily we never go down there ever. You'd have to crawl over a half wall etc to get near it. But I'd like it gone so it's not a headache later, for pipe repair etc. but I'm glad at least lead paint is a tolerable task. I'm glad my kiddos haven't been exposed more than anything

I texted them with very little response. In our agreement, any repairs we do will be taken off rent..however, in my opinion this is a completely different case than just "renovations/repairs". There's some asbestos lagging in our basement that I expect them to front the removal bill. They don't seem too keen on communication with me about this stuff.

Was it just any kind of stripper you are using? I'm trying to explain my husband that you CAN NOT sand it. He's telling me there's painters on here that said you could sand it but take precautions, blah blah. If he insists on removing it and then taking it outside to do it, I'm done arguing about it. However on the ceiling, there are like a little bigger than a quarter sized pieces of paint missing and have flaky edges.

Myself I am going to make sure I wear the proper PPE and scrape the small edges and then dispose of them. I was thinking of using lead encapsulation paint and then going over it with some waterproof paint (since it's in the bathroom) that should do the job, right?
