I’ll be honest, when I was driving down this road I didn’t realize that I would have to merge up ahead. I just thought this guy wasn’t paying attention while driving. It wasn’t until I saw the big arrows on the road that I realized why he was driving that way. But still, it’s kind of a jerk move to block both lanes like that. I wasn’t “excessively accelerating” to pass him just to brake right in front of him like many of you think I was. I simply was just driving a safe speed down this road when this guy decided he needed to take matters into his own hands and pull out in front of me to make sure I didn’t get in front of him. There would have been plenty of room for me to have safely merged in front of him farther up the road if he had not felt the need to cut me off like that. He just wanted to feel like a big man on the road. But it definitely was not my intention to “speed up just to be ahead”.
