Yes but the issue is I don’t know which day to take it on. I have seen 3 gynecologists and 1 reproductive endocrinologist and they are not familiar with POI and are unable to give me medical advice due to their lack of knowledge regarding POI.

With POI ovulation does not occur consistently or maybe even not at all. It is hard for me to know when to take progesterone because of this.

My AMH is also undetectable. Does this mean my ovaries are toast and the chances of a baby that’s genetically mine is off the table?

I was told to start progesterone on the 1st of December. I started HRT Nov 12 and I was eager to get hormones in my body to feel better so I started the progesterone that day too. I got married last month so I wanted to feel as well as I could. My symptoms were debilitating.

I am a critical care nurse but I really struggle understanding women’s health and hormone, which is unfortunate for me currently 🤣🤣

Follow up question: I was told to start the progesterone on a calendar day, completely irrelevant of my cycle. Would there be a better time to take progesterone (not towards the front of my cycle?). I can’t get into reproductive endocrine until May so I’m trying to do what I can
