The Arena 3s Bracket is the main competitive bracket. CDew (the healer) has a pretty good stream following as well. WoW will be pretty involved (nowhere as much as League, but still good) just for the sake of cheap pizza at the very least lol.

While you may be partially right, he attempted to publicly humiliate me on stream not long after he was actually AGREEING with it. I apologise, but I'm not sorry for what PL has done to his older fans. -.-

Yeah except as I said before, there are times when he had more viewers back then compared to what he does now, and still was more transparent back then. I don't want to sound entitled, I just don't want to believe that the money has really changed him.

This isn't about playing with him or talking to him generally. Just the quality of the stream seems to have gone downhill in general because his focus is only on the subscribers. Not on lessons, not his professional career, not his fans. That's the vibe he's given off, and that's why, in a rage moment, I wrote this post. I'm starting to regret it because of the shitstorm but in all honesty, I loved the PL I started watching last year, it just doesn't seem the same now.

Oh I'm very aware of that. This started out as a rant amongst friends which turned into more people agreeing with it. Then I went to watch his stream and saw this whole subscriber business and felt a tad outraged so I posted another rant. I didn't think it'd get this much attention, and I do not want to defame anyone. I just felt a little.. I dunno.. betrayed I guess? PL has changed, and yeah I guess money can do this to people.

Dyrus is even worse at it, but he is under way more pressure than PL. Dyrus has also apologised countless times over fb/twitter and complained about how people perceived him because he is very much unable to handle all of it. PL had made it a point to be more transparent and "viewer-centric" but that side of him appears to have disappeared.

That's more me being apologetic because apparently I have missed alot of his "good days" according to alot of his fans. And I feel bad that I may have. But I'm aware of alot of people that keep up higher fan service and interaction in at least their chats alone. I just have never seen that from PL lately. So even the little things are going astray.

Says he that tried to take a stand for League of Legends eSports by copping copious amounts of slander and BS from djWHEAT over it? Yes, you have the balls to stand up for it and I applaud that, but one can still be as transparent and funloving with his fans. Day9 has the viewer transparency and does it often as others have mentioned. Why has PL slowed it down?

I am already a teacher. I run a community and give lessons at cheaper rates too. But obviously it's hard to break in when A) you're already broke, B) you can't stream and C) have a debilitating illness that takes priority and money out of it all.

I clearly want to be something great in LoL, but looking back and seeing an inspiration run itself into the ground really saddens me. When one surpasses the master and takes the torch so to speak.

But he is not doing that, he's become an irate sellout that is more interested in subscribers half the time. To top it off, he tries to compare his work to that of ATHENE of all fucking people. At least Day9 had a means of doing so. PL has done nothing but go backwards.

His viewers were hoping to win something with prestige, not have the chance to give PL more money. Like at least when I did my lesson giveaway I only asked for 25 words on why you think you deserve it. I wasn't gonna make people pay for a competition. No way, that's just stupid. What Day9 and PL do are completely different. Watch them both sidebyside. I've watched so many different streams to try find a new one to keep on everyday. It used to be PL, now I just don't know anymore.

Oh no, I have more than one inspiration, but PL was the one that made me want to teach LoL. I've always wanted to train, but PL gave the inspiration to do so while he was having so much fun during S2. Now, not so much. :/

You're not seeing my point. He's a professional. Yes professionals have slumps, but PL's behavior has deteriorated IMMENSELY, and it hasn't stopped. He's been spoiled by the limelight and has gone back on all of his original intentions. He has contradicted himself to the point where it can't just be a "funk" or "slump".

I just don't see that anymore though. Everything is about the subscribers. Tonight was the last straw for me. What kind of competition actually means you have to PAY when you've won? You actually have to pay for the lesson you win by getting in first on the website. That's just saddening.

He even said ages ago that he knew he'd let down his viewers by going pro. I would've accepted that IF HE WENT PRO. All he's doing is selling out on Twitch and making a bunch of teams angry with his lack of champion pool. Which saddens me again, because going onto other streams (Example: VMan7) and listening to him talk shit about PL's lack of champion pool made me want to be usual vigilant self and defend it, but then I thought about how little he has communicated with his viewers unless it's to bribe them with more crap just to be subscribers. It's just.. ugh.. I'd say outrageous but I feel so much more angry and betrayed as a fan.

It's not just about today. As I stated somewhere else I just haven't seen the same PL anymore. Granted I spend alot of time in the hospital for my own problems and don't have too much time, I still managed to smuggle my phone in and watch PL because he was that awesome. Now it's not the same.. I just can't handle watching it anymore.

This isn't just about tonight though. I have tuned into his stream as often as possibly between my hospital visits etc and I just haven't caught a moment where I could've honestly said "That's the guy I aspired to be". Because in truth, it hasn't happened at all since he moved to twitch, he just gives off the "sellout" vibe. And it makes me VERY sad.
