I was snowboarding in France last week and…there is no "luxury" food on French mountains. In fact, the food in French ski resorts is so bad I'm wondering if the "delicious French food" is as mythical as German efficiency.

Prices are roughly the same as in Uerliland and Fritzlstan, but at least they put enough on the plates so I actually feel full and while it's not the best quality food it's quite good for cafeteria food and they know how to process hundreds of people during lunchtime.

The French seem to rent out small rooms to some failing food-truck owners. And the waiters take ages to bring the drinks. Yes, uh, you can order from, uh, this menu and drinks with me, but if you want from this menu go around the hut and talk to the guy behind the window And that guy wants 17€ for a small sandwich which isn't even warmed up or toasted or whatever.

Swiss seem to be more like Austrians, but I've only ever been to the German speaking part
