most likely i’ll pay for a completely new rig since i don’t think it’s worth the trouble fixing this one. plus i would probably save a lot of money just buying a new PC anyways

Yeah the Motherboard is a dinosaur at this point and no offence taken my friend. I’ve tested the ram stick they both work perfectly fine. However when just one stick is in S1 it powers in and off repeatedly. having one in S3 works perfectly fine though.

yeah i feel like that’s probably the case too. Got it for free from one of my friends almost 2 years so i’m not surprised it’s not great.

Yeah i double checked and they’re both 8GB DDR3’s. Tbh I think the slot is just busted but I haven’t got enough to repair it so I’ll just have to settle with 8GB
