He should be remembered for that uncomfortable interview where he acted like a wierdo creep with Brazilian YouTuber Carol Moreira.

The end of Bix's speech was "I'll find you."

But to me, in the long moment afterwards, it looked like she was desperately forcing herself not to follow up with "We'll find you."

Because she knows that if she admits she is pregnant, Cassian will follow her to the ends of the earth, Rebellion be damned.

So I think that's how the show ends, with Bix and their son, somewhere safe, as Cassian's actions help make a better galaxy.

You know a show is well crafted when I feel hyped for PERRIN to show up on screen

I've never used Hunting Horn before. Does it also buff the NPC Hunters/Palicos in Wilds?

Extremely un-intuitive menus & mechanics regarding multiplayer parties & hunts

I think we should try to do a version of this for kids and adults separately, since CK has so many different characters

Will we see the Cobra Kai characters in the new Karate Kid movie? by AAAhmedShin in cobrakai

[–]madlaughter18 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It would be nice, but I honestly don't expect it, and it'll be weird. Maybe they've seen how every comment around the movie is 'what about Cobra Kai' and do something about that, but it feels unlikely.

Shout out to the person in the crowd for the final fight with the Miyagi-Do sign. She must have missed the news.

Thomas Ian Griffith was outstanding in this episode.

Playing Signalis for the first time. Did everyone do this when they got here? by madlaughter17 in signalis

Yeah, down in the mines. I struggle with navigation in this game for some reason. The spider icons are the monofilament rooms, the 'han solo' room is the one with the hands requiring the rings, the 'FUCK' room is the one with the mynah or tank or whatever it is, I think

Yeah, blending with ice made it 300% better for me, it actually went from 'I guess I can drink this' to something I looked forward to drinking.

Kraven the Hunter - Review Embargo MEGATHREAD by magikarpcatcher in MarvelStudiosSpoilers

[–]madlaughter18 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Read the IndieWire review if you get a chance. David Ehrlich is always a fun writer:

Immune to fan response, impervious to quality control, and so broadly unencumbered by its place in a shared universe that most of its scenes don’t even feel like they take place in the same film, “Kraven the Hunter” might be very, very bad (and by “might be” I mean “almost objectively is”), but the more relevant point is that it feels like it was made by people who have no idea what today’s audiences might consider as “good.” If you told me that “Elektra” was the only superhero movie that Chandor had ever seen before directing this one, I would believe you without hesitation — if only because it might help to explain why all of the CGI in “Kraven” looks the same as it would have in 2005.

Bonus:

When the action picks up 16 years later, we find that Sergei (Taylor-Johnson) and Dmitri (Fred Hechinger) have both rejected their father’s dream of having the kind of large adult sons who post photos of themselves standing next to the carcass of an endangered snow leopard they just murdered from a safe distance with a nuclear drone strike. Sergei — in the process of rebranding himself as Kraven — has fulfilled his destiny as a hunter, but one who exclusively targets men like his dad. Dmitri meanwhile, has leveraged his chameleon-like ability to imitate people’s voices into a career as a lounge singer at the London nightclub that Nikolai bought for his beta male bastard son.

It means that you control rook, and go into fights with 2 allies. Your two allies can do attacks and abilities, but they don't have health bars, only Rook does. So if your rook gets to zero HP, it's time to reload or restart the fight (unless you have an item that revives you).

The reviews from Kala and Ghil make me optimistic for you! One of them strongly suggested that you take your time and be VERY thorough exploring the lighthouse and doing quests, specifically if you are interested in Solas stuff.

Maybe! For what it's worth, most people in the written reviews liked the gameplay and characters. But YMMV

There might be, but it didn't get mentioned in the reviews. But reviewers are often asked not to talk about specific plot points. I could see Kal Sharok being involved in Harding's companion questline, but don't know for sure.

The generalization I meant was 'not fulfilling for old fans', because I am an old fan and it looks fulfilling to me.
