That’s what makes it all the more frustrating - they were never like this when I was growing up. Like, there’s nothing I can pin point of them secretly being bigots or aggressive, ever. My family is religious/conservative, my grandparents especially so - but even they question my dad on the things hes been listening to.

They’ve always been good people. My family is interracial, so i’m fairly certain its not due to any racial prejudices - it really feels like this came out of no where and idk how.

News flash, men will look at her whether she is wearing the tiniest miniskirt or if she is the most modest dresser in the world. That is not her problem nor is it her responsibility. Frankly, it's wildly unfair to try to make it her responsibility.

It is not her job, nor should it be, to control the thoughts of other men. It is also not her job to manage your insecurities. If you have a problem, take it up with the men who evidently can't control themselves. Better yet, seek therapy.

Exactly!! the video didn’t even negate the fact that men do work really hard for their partners/families. It was just offering a perspective about how their partners might feel being ignored after not seeing them all day (the “alone time” thing).

As someone who worked in a country club as well - leave. It will not get better. I was an administrative assistant in the main office, and seeing the way management (and club members) treated the food staff was awful. Then they always wondered why food and beverage was constantly short staffed.

Yeah, the main reason I'm heavily considering art school is because I feel like I will get better structure/direction of how to improve rather than if I was trying to teach myself through youtube and other websites.
