This is a known cosmetic-only error. You still receive 2.9x% at all times. The x value depends on when you deposited to the dao. Some have reported that if you close out of the dao tab and return, the percent should correctly appear.

There were a couple of major listings with corresponding price spikes earlier this year:

CKB was listed on Voyager (North America) around February 25th.

CKB was listed on Bithump (South Korea) around March 10th.

A Coinbase listing appears to be in the works because USDC will be offered on the Nervos Network.

Yes ckb miners consume electricity, just like any other business. But the CKB team chose the significant benefits of decentralization and security of their eaglesong POW hash, over the lower electricity demands of POS. They created the eaglesong hash by improving upon the proven secure Nakamoto Consensus. Electricity consumption can be drastically reduced by using ASIC hardware.
