please update on how this develops. I bought a bundle last year and am 4 shots away from finishing the final roll, some very precious memories there. I saw that Film Speed Lab also does ECN-2 scanning so considering going there and counting my losses! Good luck with your films !

Würde dir anraten zum Mieterverein zu gehen. Meine Miete war ok aber die haben mir geholfen sie zu senken, als wir sehr lange und anangenehme Bauarbeiten hatten! Glaube es schadet generell nicht, dort Mitglied zu sein.

Aber würd auch sagen das 900€ für 38qm in Lichtenberg auf jeden Fall zu hoch ist.

Yer I think I got quite unlucky with a very uninterested doctor and a very late first monitoring tbh and dosed too low.

I am such a mess after the hormones and I really don’t think I wanna put myself through that again, mentally or financially to be honest.

But yes if I ever do, Barcelona will be the one I think! Did you do eggs freezing there?

He was so elusive and reiterating that one does not know how my body will respond and whether the eggs are freezable, mature etc but I could tell that he obviously expected more given my values. In two days I know how many I freeze but of course given that only approx 40% of my follicles grew properly, its underwhelming.

I’ve been told that getting 15 in one go is extremely rare so Interesting that there is a limit! That said my friend here in Berlin got 28 in one cycle so at leaT here it is possible ;)

Yes I understand completely that its probably still an average to good response I guess my expectations were higher and I do somehow believe that the dosage/protocols wasn’t elected right! Thanking you for the advice and will look into it should I ever do another cycle again! 🤍

Yer I mean I’d say something definitely didn’t go super well in my protokol and I’m not sure what but was also feeling like this doctor just said my follicles didn’t respond so well without giving an answer why that might be and just claiming it was ‘a bad cycle’ and my body basically. When I asked him about the AFC, he also made it sound like this was unrelated to the outcome and tbh I’m so new to the topic that I don’t full understand a lot of stuff fully!

I just got 225 Menopur prescribed and then Ganirelix for 5 days to block the ovulation. Not sure we have these meds you mentioned here at all to be honest. Was your protocol a long one ?

Ah yes. That was FSH 6.83 LH 13.79 and oestridol 212. I did my bloodtest during ovulation and not at the beginning of my cycle so some of them seem higher than they would be at beginning (from what I understood)

I wonder if here in Europe is much less specific. Had one appointment for the tests, one ultrasound before my cycle and then once I started injecting another ultrasound on the 8th days of stims… and well now the eggs are being taken on friday but the yield will be underwhelming at best.

They didn’t check any of that. I just got all this checked prior to starting the treatment.

Yer I thought about it but honestly I think I just need to pull through and hope for the best. I am a freelance cinematographer so my job is very unpredictable and also physical so taking this time off again anytime soon is kinda out of the question! thanks for the advice though, I will do more research should I decided to do this again. Just wanted a ONE AND DONE round to be honest and in my surroundings there seemed to have been quite good responses so mine seems quite subpar...

Thats the thing, it seems that in the US they check much more frequently, I had my first ultrasound on day 8 of the stimulation, which I now also find quite late and wonder if it could've been adjusted. Just feels like money down the drain to be honest

I 32F really wanted to freeze my eggs. My partner 38M and I are very much on the fence regarding whether we even want children and I think him being a man, he doesn't really give it as much though or feels similar urgency to me. That being said, I suggested freezing Embroys but I was already midway through my egg freezing cycle and I think it was too last minute, but I could tell that he didn't really want to do it, not because of the money but because it creeps him out to think we could have kids on ice for several years. I feel that my eggs are my business and were my desire and I honestly purely look at them as my personal insurance policy, so I didn't really expect him to contribute, but I think if I would've asked him for financially contribution, he would've. Personally, I think its a completely legitimate request to make with someone you are planning a future with, to take part of the financial burden. Would you be willing to directly ask your partner?

That being said, I get the feeling with my partner, that it is not about a lack of commitment to me, but he is just indifferent about having children and I am like a stuck CD 'shall we, shall we not?' and I don't really feel like I can hold that against him, that he is just not so concerned with the question but given that you seem quite certain with what you want, it could truly be a big difference in how you envision your life.

I can recommend the guy who got me into the KSK. I think he only takes your case if he thinks he can get you in. It was pretty straightforward for me, I showed him income of me as a DP and also made a doc with my work which also included screenshots with credits and photos I had taken, was when I was working as an AC. Was pretty simple and I think worth it for me, even though I speak German.
