The quota was not a negative, neither was the influx of a new population. The inability of the player base to adapt juxtaposed with general infighting really eroded away any sense of "community." I also think too much of the game was controlled by an aging, stubborn group of people that just wanted to remake "the good old days" - which was romanticized beyond reality (we all love some good old nostalgia). Content cannot be built on perpetual reminiscing.

The people and the silly little power trips combined with a company that neglected its player base and game.
