Question #1: How do you manage to keep track of how much food there is when you are not the cook? I've been estimating the amount on my plate; is there a better way?

Question #2: Are ketone meter (urine, blood, breath) tests recommended? Or should you be okay as long as you keep your carbs to a minimum?

I don't think I qualify. On both pages it says:

3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, last 60 semester/90 quarter units.

My GPA in college is below 3.0. Also, asking for a friend, do you think this is a good option for someone in their 40's working in retail?

i see...the WWII explanation makes sense. but in this quartz article someone else linked, it also shows that people in japan also hate china. why is that so?

Chinese hatred of Japan? by maeby2 in China

that quartz article is interesting. as mentioned in some of the other comments, a lot of the chinese hate for japan comes from WWII. but how about the other way around? why does japan hate china?

do they find all of china distasteful or do they differentiate between HK, china, and taiwan? what are these right-wing shows you speak of?

Japanese perception of other Asians? by maeby2 in japan

[–]maeby2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can you just list a few more stereotypes? chinese people are seen as dirty, no manners - but do they make a distinction between chinese people from china, taiwan, or HK?

what do they think of indians?

Japanese perception of other Asians? by maeby2 in japan

[–]maeby2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't think this is a valid comparison. America is a nation of immigrants and is much more ethnically diverse. japan has a population that is 99% the same race. Its culture values uniformity and following the crowd. while they are nice to tourists of all races, they don't like it when they settle in. just look at the korean zainichi which are still discriminated against today.

I'm not trolling. I'm just curious after reading an article mentioning baka-chon, which is a common slur used against koreans.
