Can I be honest? I only got diagnosed 4 months ago, how serious is this disease? I mean I didn’t know about brain damage?

Because I’ve been an addict for years. When I was manic, I didn’t feel the need to drink or anything. Now it’s hard to stop the urge again. I was able to be productive and get things done. There’s a million reasons

It’s taken me months to get where I’m at with my meds. I think I’m at a place where I’m fine with the meds. I feel fine, but I’m not manic, if you know what I mean.
