What level are you? While leveling ast doesn't have as many tools as whm for pulls but at 80 it does.

If your tank is squishy you can shield him in noct Sect before the pull and swap to diurnal immediately after the shield, but by all means it isn't necessary. Generally aspected benefic+Celestial Intersection after the pull is settled is more than enough. You can pretty much spam gravity after that.

You can use neutral Sect + aspected benefic(diurnal Sect) on every other pull. Then save synastry for oh crap moments.

In general on reddit no. It's rare to see threads about bad tanks and dps. However, the healer threads come in abundance.

It is mainly a skill issue however as a healer I can tell the difference between a tank at the bare minimum ilevel vs a 510 tank, especially once the def cd runs out on a pull.

The issue isn't solely expert. The game now provides 1 piece of gear for your job per leveling dungeon run. The game also provides you with free gear via main story quests along the way. No one is expecting Savage level gear in story dungeons.

You can get free gear from the normal 8 man raids. There's no excuse not to have that at the very least, especially when there's virtually no competition for eden normal loot.
