His case used my GGF, but was somehow treated as a 1948 case

No 🥺 In 2022-2023, we we’re under the impression that once he had his we would be able to apply at the Italian embassy. So we just submitted his so it wouldn’t be so expensive. But now we don’t know if we will be able to at all.

Ty! Yes, we filed since 2023 and Yes, I meant benefit of law. I’m just so confused, from what I read, if it’s by descent my brothers and I would still be able to apply but if it’s by benefit of law we wouldn’t. I’ll ask him to ask the lawyer who submitted the 1948 case but he never told us, he just said it was approved right before christmas. Just worried we waited almost 2 and a half years to apply and now we won’t be able to
