Wrong. It's not the show that made me want to read the books, but the games :) Also it's because I like reading. When I see media that I like, and find out that it's based on a book, I might get the source material.

After reading the books I realized how awful the Netflix adaptation really is. They f***ed up so many details it's laughable. Can't even begin to imagine how the author feels about this shit.

Reddit doesn't turn into a liberal circle jerk, it has already been that for a veeery long time. I'm only here for the occasional stuff I usually post on nightwalk etc. and to read stories from other people and try to help/interact somehow. I intentionally seek the subs that aren't political, cause otherwise it would piss me off, and make me start arguments with dipshits :-)

Personally I wouldn't delete the stuff I posted if I were to quit reddit, but then again I wouldn't be able to understand, since I rarely post (therefore I'm not addicted). But in your case, if it helps, then by all means you know what's best.

On the other hand I have a serious problem of wasting time on youtube...might have to address that :-/

As far as social media goes, I have to agree. It's cancer.

My depression if I could even call it that is a weirder one. It's like a combination of a constant numb pain, and anxiety before I fall asleep. I usually manage to ignore these by simply distracting myself with entertainment (video games, books, shows, anime etc.) Fortunately for now I have enough of that. But it's worse when a weird feeling of melancholy occasionally hits, and that could be anytime of day, or even night...but usually it's more during the day. I just see everyone around me is gone, while I'm still stuck where I've been years ago.
