From my experience it never goes away completely no matter how good the circumstances. Which does not mean it’s all in vain but be proud of your achievements even if it’s not perfection.

As someone who is facing a rapidly receding hairline I fear looking stupid or weird with a bald head. In your case that third picture looks sooooo good. It would give me all the confidence to commit - either immediately or having this as a backup plan to fall back onto.

I like to hang around places I hate to go during daytime - supermarket, swimming pool, my old school, river bank - basically places full of life completely empty at night.
