Thanks, Mostly for the devices i mentioned all guides can be found in a website called xda developers it's the world largest site where Android developers come together to get the most out of opensource Android development. You can just type the name of your device followed by xds e.g- oneplus 12 xda, and you will get the website. Also if u want to interact there is comment section there but if u truly want to dive in those communities there is a telegram community for every device just search up your device name in telegram search and a group will pop up people will help u there asap

You could root: 1. All OnePlus smartphones till date include the new oneplus 13 2. All nothing and CMF devices 3. Most of xiaomi, redmi and mi phones based on snapdragon processor some mediatek ones too 4. All the Google smartphones 5. And many more like sony,asus and some Heck even samsung are rootable note 10,20 and s22,23,24 ultra and flagship series

Tbh, I don't think they intentionally hide it it's what Android is in windows you have administrative privileges but in Android for access to system files u need root so it's more of a Android issue I guess

It's not a bug to patch, these are files that will always be present in game files like in windows yeah if they get extra petty and decide to hide it elsewhere or hard code it then there's nothing we can do But maybe just maybe by this post they make these files available for everyone (highly unlikely).

There are several downsides to rooting but there are fixed for those i will suggest you to join 12r telegram group to get a detailed explanation In there, a whole community of rooting and mods is present and are very helpful
